Global Impact
Altrusans provide humanitarian relief through multiple avenues

Altrusa Club of Green Bay, Wisconsin

Altrusa International, Inc. Green Bay WI chapter was established in 1930.  The International Organization is, first and foremost, a community based, grassroots organization that seeks to solve the problems in our communities. Busy Altrusans raise money for local charities, volunteer at battered women’s shelters, foster literacy in local schools, build houses for Habitat for Humanity, and so much more. Inspired by Thoreau, Mamie L. Bass put it best, "it is not enough to be good; Altrusans must be good for something." Our purpose is to promote better communities through service by an international network of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.  We welcome you to get to know us better by volunteering with us and/or joining our Club.
